Responsibilities

This Anesthesia Tech opportunity is full time at 36 hours per week, offers full benefits and a convenient day shift schedule.

Anesthesia Tech:

This position maintains a smooth flow of anesthetic cases, in a timely manner, by assisting the anesthesiologist before, during, and after induction. Has a working knowledge of anesthetic drugs and agents. Is able to pre-test the anesthesia machines and reports deficiency to appropriate manufacturing representative and leadership. Upon request, is able to prepare appropriate equipment necessary for arterial lines, Swan Ganz, and central lines. Is available to assist in room turnover as required.

Qualifications
  • High School graduate or equivalent.
  • Associates or BS degree in a healthcare field preferred.
  • ASATT certification required within one year of hire.
  • Current BLS certification
