Join Our Team as a CNC Machinist!
This role is in Carson City, Nevada (Relocation Assistance Available)
Are you a skilled machinist looking for a dynamic opportunity to showcase your expertise? Do you thrive in an environment where quality and precision are paramount? Look no further - we're seeking talented individuals like you to join our team and contribute to our success!
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Safely set up and operate common machine tools including lathes, mills, grinders, and drill presses.
- Operate and interpret CNC programs.
- Perform full machine setups and program edits with precision.
- Fabricate tooling and hardware to enhance facility operations.
- Conduct simple to complex machine setups independently.
- Collaborate with team members to improve departmental processes.
- Troubleshoot issues with guidance from senior machinists.
- Mentor and train junior machinists, fostering a collaborative team environment.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Trade school education/certificate preferred
- 2 years or more of work experience as a machinist
- Experience using 3-axis CNC milling machines
- Experience using 5-axis CNC milling machines
- Previous experience using Campbell & Makino milling and grinding machines
