* The manager assists in the design and implementation of the comprehensive programs with systemic approach to identifying, designing, measuring, and monitoring cardiovascular quality activities.
* The manager's scope of work includes education and training on accreditation for all team members within the organization, including executives; operational leadership of teams and large groups across the health system; management of comprehensive programs, analysis and monitoring of all accreditation and process improvement activities; continuous management of performance data; and compliance with clinical practice guidelines
* The position requires leadership skills and knowledge to leverage shared experience in accreditation survey processes and builds upon current knowledge of requirements related to the American College of Cardiology, American Heart Associations, and other accrediting bodies.
* Develops and delivers education, process improvement initiatives and program ingenuities through data collection and best practice aggregation.
* Facilitates accreditation efforts involving operational leadership and departments by assessing policies, evaluating workflows, observation, interviews etc. with goal of identifying gaps and advising on reliable process improvement strategies utilizing evidence-based practice.
* Collaborates with Cardiovascular Service Line Physicians to improve quality outcomes with an interdisciplinary approach
* Participates in and supports in evaluation of incidents and complaints, as needed.
* Collaborates with outpatient operational leadership as a dyad partner in elevating cardiovascular quality across the continuum of the patients care at Renown Health
* Has responsibility in the supervision of staff, including the authority to hire, transfer, suspend, layoff, recall, promote, discharge, assign, reward, or discipline employees.
* Is required to use independent discretion and judgment with respect to supervisory and management decisions and recommendations.
