Job Description

SUMMARY

Warehouse Associates provide support by receiving, stocking, packaging, picking and shipping warehouse products while working safely and following standard operating procedures.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Operate Power Industrial Trucks
  • Unload inbound trailers in a safe and timely manner
  • Stock inventory in accordance with standard work
  • Prioritize work by demand
  • Package parts and ensure work orders are complete and meet standards
  • Operate other equipment such as computers, tape guns, automatic tape machines, poly baggers, and foam machines to fulfill daily demands.
  • Pick parts to fill customer orders.
  • Inspect parts for damage.
  • Understand the operating system used in each department
  • Keep assigned work area clean.
  • Troubleshoot for inventory errors
  • Maintain productivity goals
  • Execute daily 5S activities to ensure a clean and safe work environment
  • Assist others to complete assigned work on time.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience or training. Job requires basic reading, writing and math skills.
  • Must be a team player, flexible, and motivated
  • Must have the initiative and discipline to work with limited supervision

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • 6 months experience in a similar position
  • Experience with the workflow for the department.
  • Experience operating PIT Order Selecting equipment

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

  • Able to lift up to 35 lbs.
  • Able to stand for long periods of time
  • Able to bend at the waist
  • Able to reach above shoulder level
