2nd Shift Engineering Technician to staff our client in Gloucester, MA for an 18 month contract that has a good possibility of going permanent. They are the leading suppliers of ion implantation equipment used in the fabrication of semiconductor chips in the world. 2nd Shift: 3:30 am to 12:00 am Monday through Friday (10% differential per hour for the shift)
Pay Rate:
$30 TO $35 per hour
What You Need to Bring to the Table:

• 2 to 4 Years of experience
• Associate degree
• Troubleshooting, and maintaining high tech systems in a team-oriented environment.
• Perform machine testing and maintenance on Ion Implanters and RF Plasma Systems
• Must have the ability to communicate effectively and interact with a diverse project team to collect, compile, maintain and interpret data and test results accurately.
• Semiconductor Experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of Ion implanters and RF plasma systems is a plus.
• Individuals with a passion for learning, operating, troubleshooting, and maintaining high tech.

• Assist engineers and scientists as they create, modify, and test Ion implanters and RF plasma systems. Inspect products and processes for flaws and identify and communicate areas for improvement.
• Conduct tests and collect data.
• Work with teams (Manufacturing, Quality, Reliability, Design, etc.) to solve problems arising from product anomalies, engineering evaluations, and new product development.
  * Ability to work from schematics, diagrams, written or verbal instruction, layouts or plans to perform testing and troubleshooting.
• Maintain logbooks and test procedure documentation utilizing good writing skills.
• Problem solver who can apply scientific methods efficiently to generate results.
• Ability to identify specification issues with an eye for technical accuracy and thoroughness.
• Observe all safety standards. Actively strive to work safely to prevent accidents and injuries.

• Our Engineering group based in Gloucester; MA is looking to grow our team of technicians in the implant systems group. Experience in the semiconductor industry is desired, but not necessary. • The implant systems portfolio includes line-of-sight beam line systems and plasma doping. These systems deliver leading-edge beam angle control, dose control, uniformity, and wafer-to-wafer repeatability. The successful candidate will perform machine testing and maintenance on Ion Implanters and RF Plasma Systems. Candidate must take direction from management staff (Physicists and Engineers) and be able to independently provide expertise to accomplish assigned tasks. Must have the ability to communicate effectively and interact with a diverse project team to collect, compile, maintain and interpret data and test results accurately.
• Successful candidate will perform machine testing and maintenance on Ion Implanters and RF Plasma Systems. Candidate must take direction from management staff (Physicists and Engineers) and be able to independently provide expertise to accomplish assigned tasks.
